Training & Education Product Testing Coordinator @Sinelco

You will be working in the professional hair & beauty industry in an international environment.

You have a proven hairdresser’s background or already hold a similar position in the industry, and you have excellent knowledge about hair products in all categories (color, care, styling, tools, accessories etc.). Knowledge of beauty products is a plus.

 

Job Description
 

Training (60%):

  • As responsible person for ‘Training & Education’ you will:

    • Provide product training to Sinelco’s sales representatives within the different markets, for both hair and beauty products

    • Provide on-demand product training or a more specific program training for Sinelco’s major customers within the different markets, for both hair and beauty products.

  • You will be in charge of:

    • creating and implementing training manuals (written or digital as well as video tutorial)

    • development and execution of training events, as per product launch calendar

  • You will assist with educational product videos, as well as with product photoshoots

  • You will demonstrate Sinelco’s products at the occasion of international trade fairs or at the POS

     

Product testing (40%):

  • As responsible person for all test procedures of our own hair & beauty products you will:

    • be in charge to create and implement the test procedures on quality and performance.

    • Create and manage a community of testers across Europe, with special focus on qualitative, detailed feedback.

    • manage all testing done by third party: hairdressers, nail stylists and beauticians. You will be in charge to create technical files, training & consultation tools to support our Sales, Helpdesk, Marketing and Product Development team.

    • keep records of tested products and building a database for future reference/product comparison

  • You will give Helpdesk in-depth technical support on questions on our own brands

  • You will help the Product Development team to review and correct technical packaging texts and instructions for use of our own brands.

 

Profile request

  • You are eager to learn, aware of latest market trends and passionate about the hair & beauty industry.

  • You take initiatives to search for new products/techniques on the market.

  • You like spotting trends on social media and use those as inspiration to inform the Product Development and Marketing teams.

  • You are able to invest in the build-up of long-term relationships with possible testing partners and customers.

  • Project management skills and a good organization are key.

  • You can manage stress and prioritize well.

  • You are a perfectionist and love to work in detail.

  • You are hands-on.

  • You are a team player.

  • Excellent communicative skills are essential.

    • You are able to communicate fluently (written & spoken) in French , English and Dutch (an extra language is an asset)

    • You have excellent presentation skills – giving training to a group of people is what you like

  • You are familiar with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • You are willing to travel if needed, mainly to France & Belgium (about 10%) + Cosmoprof Fair (a yearly worldwide event for the professional beauty sector in Italy)

  • Your daily work location will be at Sinelco, Ronse
